All Things Harvest was originally created to support the upcoming children’s chapter book, A Scarecrow Tale, by Marian McCoy Boveri.  In the story the harvest is recognized as being a part of every season and all things even though the harvest doesn’t go as planned.  The main character having lost his purpose finds himself searching for meaning and discovers it once again at a harvest celebration.

All Things Harvest grew from a place to share a story of a harvest tradition that connected people to the land into a place that brings people into connection with each other, themselves, and the harvests in their own lives.  Through celebrating traditions, All Things Harvest™ helps you to grow a stronger family.  Through Discover the S.T.U.F.F. You’re Made Of™, All Things Harvest™ helps you get in touch with who you are in order to stand strong in the storms of life.  Through Cultivate the Fields of Your Life™ , All Things Harvest™ helps you to live into a more purposeful life.

Cultivate the Fields of Your Life™ is more than a tagline.  It is a way of living intentionally in order to bring abundance and fulfillment into life by recognizing and using harvest principles.  More importantly, the Laws of the Harvest function not just in planting the fields of the land but also in the fields of your life.

All Things Harvest’s Founder, Marian McCoy Boveri, is the wife of 27 years to John Boveri and mother of three grown sons.  Marian always felt called to be a mother and have a family of her own.  She was blessed to have been a stay-at-home mom for 17-1/2 years before starting her own business working in real estate for the next 13 years with a Historic Homes Specialty.  When her children were young, she completed her BA degree from DePaul University in Chicago at the School for New Learning with a concentration in Children and Family Issues, i.e., Sociology.

Marian has always been family-oriented and loves to celebrate traditions that connect the family to the generations–past, present, and future.  It is her hope to share with you through All Things Harvest ways in which you can celebrate the seasons, build your own family traditions, and Cultivate the Fields of Your Life™ in order to yield a bountiful and good harvest.

Marian is currently finishing A Scarecrow Tale and looks forward to its debut at the 2018 St. Charles Scarecrow Festival.  The story was inspired by the St. Charles Scarecrow Festival as well Marian’s memorable summers as a child on her grandfather Patrick McGarry’s farm in County Roscommon, Ireland.

Watch for the upcoming programs Cultivate the Fields of Your Life™ and Discover the S.T.U.F.F. You’re Made Of™.   The first book in an upcoming seasonal series, Celebrate Fall–A Season of Harvest, is planned for the next Fall season as well.
